Julia prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships and meeting each client where they are. She tailors her approach to each individual’s cultural identity, background, and unique circumstances, recognizing the significant influence relationships play on emotional well-being and personal growth. Her approach is grounded in the belief that clients are the experts on their own experiences and needs.
In addition to working directly with children and adolescents, Julia values collaboration with parents and caregivers. She works alongside families to help parents better understand their children’s behaviors and emotions, develop effective parenting strategies, and strengthen their confidence in navigating challenges and fostering healthy change.
Outside of her work, Julia enjoys cooking and baking, spending time in nature through gardening and camping, and making memories with her loved ones and her cat.
