We can provide medication management to clients ages 12 and up who are in counseling here at Positive Directions. Concurrent counseling is a requirement to receive medication management services.
We never turn anyone away for inability to pay. Medication management at Positive Directions is affordable.
Yes. We prescribe controlled substances when they are clinically appropriate, in line with state and clinical guidelines. The prescriber makes that decision with you.
We are not an urgent care or crisis service. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or 211, option 1 (for Connecticut mobile crisis). For non-urgent medication needs, we will get you scheduled as quickly as our calendar allows.
Yes. We provide medication management only for clients who are also in counseling at Positive Directions.
